FINAL: PART 1

Our topic for the interdisciplinary project was “Should consumers be sold genetically modified foods.” Our group members were Jocelyn Leon, David Valentin, Fabian Lopez, Virginia Hernandez, Antonio Mendoza, and I. Our team did pretty well from the beginning to the end of the project. All group members worked together and got along with each other. Our grade was 3 out of 4.

We worked on this pretty hard and put a lot of effort into this project because we all knew this a big part of our grade. At first some of us didn't know each other when we were just into group. But as time went by we all supported and helped each other. This was a pretty awesome thing to experience.  The first thing everyone did was researched their topic and write notes. Then we wrote and finished the essay.
When showcase night came we didn't know what to expect because this was the first time we all did this. We all had butterflies in our stomach when we call your group number to present. The presentation went out to be okay. Cause we didn't look at the board or look at the flashcards. We answer the entire question they asked and stated your topic.

“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.”
                                        -Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: This quote means that if you something good or bad then you feel it too. For example if you wash the dishes without being told too then you’ll feel good about yourself. Another example is that if you steal or lie about something to someone then later on you’ll feel bad about yourself.

One day Patrick deicide that he wanted to go exploring the desert by himself. His parents told him to always wear shoes while going outside. Patrick disobeyed his parents and wore sandals instead of shoes. Patrick went exploring and suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his leg. He discovered that a scorpion had sting Patrick. Patrick was in insulating pain and yelled for his parents. His parent went running to Patrick and took him to the local hospital.     “Always do right.”
-   Mark Twain

Reflection: This quote means to always choose the right and do the right. For example if you go to a party and they offer you a alcohol beverage you have to do the right and reject that bad offer and get away from those people.

When You Tell One Lie It Leads to Another

Paul Hatch

When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,
You're in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won't suspect
You
The you tell six lies and you'll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘Cause you can't remember how many
You've told
And half the things you say aren't true
And sometimes you'll slip up, you'll trip up
And then
Whatever will become you?
So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep
Multiplying
‘Till the whole wide world will know youre lying
Then you’ll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Disliked
And you should!
When you lie, you're closing the door

On everything good

Student Success Statement

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another”.

                                           -Paul Hatch

Reflection:

This quote means if you tell a lie to someone. The same lie leads to another and it adds up. For example, if you tell a lie to your parents and tell them that you've done homework. Then you tell another lie to your parents then your parent is not to believe you and you’re not going to have trust between you and your parents.
